Welcome to MedMatchNet, a patient-facing application and brand operated by MedMatch Open, LLC ("MedMatch," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MedMatchNet application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
All references to MedMatchNet refer to services provided by MedMatch Open, LLC. By accessing or using MedMatchNet, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
MedMatchNet is a health navigation and care-coordination platform designed to help you:
MedMatchNet is not a medical provider. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on MedMatchNet replaces consultation with a licensed healthcare professional.
MedMatchNet includes AI-powered tools (including the Edha assistant) that ask questions based on your input, identify potential urgency, and suggest appropriate care options. These tools are for informational and navigational purposes only — they do not diagnose conditions and do not provide treatment recommendations.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately. Do not rely on MedMatchNet for emergency care.
You must be at least 18 years old, or use MedMatchNet with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your login credentials secure, and all activity under your account.
By using MedMatchNet, you agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes, provide truthful and accurate information, not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to access systems without authorization, and not use the Service to harm, harass, or impersonate others. You should always seek professional medical advice for health decisions.
MedMatchNet may help you request appointments, share information with healthcare providers (at your direction), and track care-related activities. Healthcare providers are independent third parties. MedMatchNet does not control and is not responsible for provider services, medical outcomes, scheduling decisions, or clinical care.
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, how it is protected, and your rights and choices. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using MedMatchNet, you agree to both these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
You may not reverse engineer or misuse the Service, attempt to bypass security measures, upload malicious code, use MedMatchNet for commercial exploitation without permission, or use the Service to provide medical advice to others. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
All content, software, trademarks, and design elements of MedMatchNet are owned by or licensed to MedMatch Open, LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
MedMatchNet is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, that information will be complete or error-free, or that use of the Service will improve health outcomes. Your use of MedMatchNet is at your own discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by law: MedMatch Open, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; we are not responsible for decisions made based on information provided through the Service; and we are not responsible for provider actions or medical outcomes. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You may stop using MedMatchNet at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, use poses a security or legal risk, or as required by law. Termination does not affect provisions that should reasonably survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the Service or other reasonable means. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
